how much weight in your w123 trunk?

With the Cummins in the shop, the heavy hauling has fallen to my 81 240 so when a large order of fruit and nuts arrived for the current batch of fruitcake baking, I met the suppliers truck and proceeded to completely fill the trunk with full 25 and 30 lb boxes. I checked my invoice later and found that it came to 400+ lbs. The ride height and attitude was slightly tail heavy but not overly so and of course acceleration was unaffected by the weight. These cars continue to surprise and satisfy me.
