Many of us have not been around for that time. But the archives still remain. I think I inherited the vast majority of my diesel education here from early threads and your name has always stood out. I am shocked to see that title under your name... I hope you find the forgiveness to remove it.

This place has often been inhabited by some very educated and often specialized professionals - many of them self-taught tinkerers. None of them are always right, none of them are always 'well-composed'... its simply human nature.

You won't be forgotten, but you will be remembered as a mortal.

Larry condolenses on your father. I've benn there, keep positive and try to remember the good times it helped. I think you are one off the finest people on this forum and one of the most knowledgable.

Thanks for all the posts. I was not expecting nor soliciting them, but they are greatly appreciated.

As requested I changed my title. I no longer felt that Senior Member seemed appropriate so I put something there of which I am proud.

Hey, Larry, I see a blue ball, not red! I too value your extensive knowledge Mercedes and hvac. Please do not take it personally if I (or anyone else) do not always agree with you.

All I can say is hooah! Keep the faith and keep on keepin' on. Trust your instincts and the better nature of others. None of us are perfect on this topsy-turvy planet.

Larry, you seem like a fine individual and I am sorry for you loss. Sometimes it is difficult to see the cup half full, but it is always better to try and do so.

Larry, as a guy who has been around as long as you have here, may I recommend that you drop the disclaimer in your sig? Advice is only as good as the man man making it and the person getting it. We all know the calibre of the man providing the advice, so no disclaimer is necessary.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad and your other woes. I have no idea what the infraction was and it certainly won't keep me from reading your posts. There are a handful of folks on here that I pay particular attention to when they post. YOU are one of them. If you are not a "senior member", I guess there aren't any on Peach Parts!

I did notice when you were MIA on here, and I was glad to see you back. we agree more often than not, but our paths are very similar, so it's to be expected.

While reading Larry's OP I kept expecting to see "I did not have sex with that woman!". :)

Being a Submarine vet I have dealt with lots of bad days from other crew members and they have dealt with mine. As we get older we realize that everyone needs to blow off steam at times. We can't help it, it is how we are built. We get past it and move on. Life is too damn short. (unless you are that 130 yr old in the Ukraine)

Larry, I'm sorry to hear of your straitened circumstances and the death of your father. I hope your life improves. However, I haven't seen any of your posts that require an apology. Now the Boneheaddoctor on the other hand. . .
