Installing updated door cards w124
I have spent the better part of the day installing newer panels from a 93' 320 TE. they look awesome, but theres a couple things you should know
You should grab the switch blocks, Covers and switch covers that move the original 124's are too short there's some plastic covers in some of the holes. you need to remove to fit the new panels on, there's more hooks in the newer ones The speakers are a little bit bigger in the older version so the new panels will have to be adjusted to fit it's a great idea to get the newer lock pulls too. the older ones tend to be shorter then what they need to be. I'll post some pictures tomorrow of the process and what my car looks like now.. atleast what the doors look like

Been there / done that, a nice cosmetic upgrade. I didn't have any trouble with the switches though, mine seemed to fit well, and the rear door speakers are a wagon-only deal (my swap was an '87 sedan).
Did you install the bass-speakers in the front doors? I considered it on my '87, but the mods to the steel delayed that part of the project, thinking I should have used complete '93 doors for that part.
