STP Diesel Fuel Sulfur Substitute?
A friend gave me several (10+) bottles of STP Diesel Fuel Sulfur subsitute that he was given after his friend's 300D died due to being driven without coolant.
My research indicates that a sulfur substitute additive is not necessary in OM603 engines as I own a 1987 MBZ 300TDT with an OM603. I just wanted to see if anyone else has any thoughts on this before I get rid of the stuff. Thanks in advance. -Steve

I don't like additives.
the bosch pumps are lubed by engine oil, so I don't think it's needed. that said, it's free. put one in each fill up.

Unnecessary but if free, I'd run it.
Sounds like the person who had the 300D had no idea what they were doing! Fuel additives but no coolant in the engine, nice.
