Vent ahead:

I've had a dragging brake on my car for quite a while. Sometimes it squeaks very quietly and you can stop the squeak by tapping the brakes. When it happens the car pulls pretty fiercly. I finally ordered some new brake lines and spent a relaxing few hours on Christmas Eve day R&Ring them and bleeding the brakes down. All was good for 2 days, but yesterday the faint squeal came back. $50 down the drain. Guess it's time to get a caliper.

That's the way things seem to go, eh?
