RPM SENSOR
I need to replace RPM sensor on 1992 300 D.Where is it and how it look?

The 84/85 300D has it on the adaptor plate between the eng and trans on the drivers side. has a thick black wire going to it, and the sensor is black plastic held in by one screw.
Not sure of your model, though. good place to start. Charlie |
I think you can find a picture of your sensor by clicking on buy parts above - and I think (but only think because I don't own one) that the sensor is positioned towards the back of the crankshaft on a W124. RPM sensors are usually positioned on one end of the crankshaft - if you can't see it on the front then it is probably on the back - right?

Interesting, just looked up the part in Fast Lane. same part# for 85 and for the 92. W0133-1615020, $65.75.
