Hello!
today's project is a really shiny 85SD. a really pretty example.
unfortunately it's in my arena due to the issues the owner is facing.
#1 is a bad motor mount. REALLY bad. no splash shield on it either...
I recently adjusted the valves, and did a minor tuneup on the girl. today's efforts are focusing on the charging system and the noises in the driveline.
I'm going to focus on the alternator as the accessory noise, since the battery is going dead... but the clunk in the diff sounds like massive wear in the teeth. finding a replacement 2.88 is gonna be fun...
I'll take pics if the owner wants me to go forward with this much repair work.
