Shut Off Lever Hanging Low
I have read the DIY thread about replacing the Vacuum Shut Off Valve. I have a different problem. My lever sits at about 9 o'clock when the engine is off. I can raise it to about 10/11 o'clock manually, with no resistance. When the engine is running the lever is at about 8 o'clock and gently bobs up and down. It takes the slightest touch of the lever to kill the engine. The engine stops instantly with the key everytime.
Why is the lever hanging so low when running and why does it not return all the way up when the engine is off?
