To drive or not to drive back..

Hello, need some opinions. I am buying a 190D 2.5. The belt tensioner is listing forward, and the pulley is very close to hitting the fan. Owner says its been like that for a while. I didn't check it for looseness while I was there, but after reading on the forums I see what is ahead of me. I am assuming its the bearing of the tensioner bracket. Its not making noise, just making the pulley out of alignment. Question: Do I trailer it home or drive it home? Distance is 600 miles, mostly flat terrain. I am leaning on trailering it home, but if the majority think that the tensioner is probably stable enough for transport, I wouldn't hold you responsible for it..lol.

Thanks!
