1996 e300d blower motor
Does anybody no if a new style blower motor will fit in the old style alu. mount, I no about the regulator upgrade. Just want to no if it is the same, shaft length and diameter. My regulator is good found a bosch new style replacement motor I wanted to retrofit this new motor to the old unit, or does anybody no where I can get an old style motor itself. Thanks for any help

I took a chance and ordered the new motor, found out the motor would fit with a couple of easy modifications. I had to make a 3/32 inch spacer for the end of the motor and also drill out the hole on the cage assembly just slightly because the shaft was a little bigger, other than that everything was the same diameter and total length. This mod saved me lots of money the motor was 100.00 dollars. Everthing works perfect I have heat again!
