Broken Fuel Line

Hi all:

Going thru the growing pains w/ my '85 190D with 300 ??K on him.

Bought Xmas 2010 for $300. Body straight, interior good, no rust , engine and trans good(so far).

So far the repairs done by the 'ole hippie mechanic the PO had work on it are holding up pretty well. EGR ,Hi Altitude contraption, heater core bypassed, vacuum hoses fixed/patched. He did have green stuff as coolant however.

To date:
All fluids+filters,ignition tumbler (don't ever use WD 40), battery, alternator, more vacuum hose patches.

"Mr Magoo" (2.2L Auto w/ a little smoke) was happy in town so we took him on a road trip to play golf.
About 35mi up the interstate, start losing power ,look under hood to see a
small "Fountain O Diesel" comming from fuel line #4.
Coaxed him home (leaking like hell) after a minor fix w hose clamps and rubber fuel line.

Call Phil @Fastlane for new #4 fuel line + support clips ($50) .... hell I needed some more filters and sunroof paste anyway..

And so it goes.....
