That'll buff out

This was the worst rearended w123 i've ever seen. If someone was in the right rear -they could have definately got messed up.

After looing at the pic again -im gonna say they just have likely would have died.

Ouch!

Too bad it looks like a Euro model 230E (m102) engine.

Yep. shame. W123 230E might be one of my favorites...though I've never actually driven one. Would love to own one someday with a standard transmission.

Exclamation OUCH !

A better pic than the hubcap would have been to show the rear seat area....

I once saw a W-126 that was rear ended by a semi ~ the back seat was pushed in a fair bit....

Both front doors still opened though .

Are 230E's valuable ? I know of a 230CE just sitting , in white , no rust , doesn't run .

Auto tranny .

looks like something tall like a truck (Jacked up 4X4) went over the top of the fenders to shove it in like that.

I have seen several 230E`s in the yards, they have the 3:58 Differential and 150mph spedo. that is what I put into my 240D.
every one I have seen have all been automatics. and one had almost perfect cloth interior.

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

Not particularly more valuable than other w123's IMO. I just think they're neat euro cars.

And agreed .

They're just miserably slow with the automatic .

The navy blue is one of the most common in the states.
