They're not rare here - but with postage that probably won't help...

If it helps, think about how much time you'll spend cleaning the mesh area and polishing the lips...

Love polished lips but hate trying to keep them clean.

winmutt 03-18-2011 01:51 PM

Not overly rare but those are quite pretty. Polished lip is easy to keep clean, its the mesh thats a PITA.

Yah over here we put rims right in the dishwasher, two at a time, and throw in a "Powerball" :D

vstech 03-18-2011 03:06 PM

there is a large and a small size, also a cone type...
this is the small size for polishing wheel orifices...

Agreed on the mesh, but gotta disagree on the lips. Clean is one thing, but keeping that mirror-like shine is a whole different ballgame.

don't this 15s have a better ride...(if you are adjusting the tire size as to maintain the correct speedo calibration)?

On my 83, I put rims from a 2nd gen w126 and had to install lower profile tires to maintain speedo calibration. And as a result, the wear on the outside of the tires is more severe than the inside. I'm going to go add 5lbs into each tire right now. Be back in a bit.
