vibrations issues with the 99

i have a sever vibration in the steering wheel at about 50-60mph..its been doing this for a year and through 3 sets of tires. i just got a bran new set of tires and its still there. i cannot track it down. everything inthe suspension seeems tight. ive had many shops look at the car and tell me everything is perfectly normal. aside from just replacing every part in the front end, does anyone have any ideas.

was thinking shocks or wheel bearing. shocks seem ok and not blown out, no leaking. with the wheel bearing theres a lil wiggle but nothing outragous.

help its driving me crazy

Check the front lower control arm bushings for cracks. They're hydraulic, and the fluid leaks out.

my suspension seems tight..i poked around and theres no major wiggle anywhere. small amount in the wheel bearing and very tiny amount in the front lower control arm bushings, thats it. but doesnt seem enough to cause the large problems im having. wheel alignmet was done last month. im leaning towards the shocks..i have unusual tire wear on my bran new tires and the shocks seem like theyre on the way out but not completely shot. so next week new shocks go on.

I didn't mention tightness or wiggles. I mentioned cracks in the front lower control arm bushings. Do you have any?

On mine, new LCA bushings helped somewhere around 200k. New tie rod ends a short time later finished resovling the issue.

My rear shocks developed "freeway" bounce around 180k and all four were replaced. Trying to bounce the car by hand did not indicate a problem; but, I only weigh 160lbs which could have been a contributing factor.

Prior to replacing those parts I had a hard time getting more than 35k out of a set of tires. Current set is wearing well at 50k.
