Are Ds and SDs exhaust compatible?
I already have the 300d exhaust out, its in good shape. The SD has a broken body hanger and sags a little. Can the exhaust from the header disconnect be installed on a 300SD with minor adjustments or not at all.
I searched the forum to no avail. Any experience would be helpful.

You know what I often do when I have a question like that is simply go to parts, right at the top of this page and check it out. There is always a picture to compare it with, but above all, check the part number. Say you check the 300D first, just write down the number and then check the same part under the SD. If you get the same number, it's like Blago says, "It's (blieppen) golden!

And
Not all SDs have the same exhaust. Some years have the dual 'kidney' resonators, some do not.

Mine Has the dual 'kidney' resonators....thats why I'm asking.. I thought all the SDs did. I can always just drag it under the SD and see if it looks close and fabricate the rest. Its the right resonator thats broken and sags.
