89 420 SE to OM617

Hello all! I have recently purchased a 1989 420 SE with a locked up piece Gasser! And have purchased a 1983 300 SD! Now this is my first conversion ever. And I have read some posts by "ice" but my questions are:
1) glowplug system setup; how to setup glow plug relay in the 420?
2) will the tranny blot up to the OM617? If so then will it be compatible with it?
3) what the hell do I do with all these damn vacuum lines? Lmao
4) any tricks/pointers to do/look for?
5) A/C system setup; it looks like I can convert everything from the 300SD to the 420 SE's A/C.
6) Cruise control; the plugs look identical on the cruise actuator motor. I gotta have cruise so any help on this subject will be a definate +
7) any other info would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
