1990 350SDL receiving engine transplant from 1987 300SDL - Questions...

Hey guys, I've decided to replace the 3.5L engine in my 350SDL with a very low mileage 3.0L OM603 out of one of my 300SDL's. I have a few questions. I'm planning on keeping the same transmission in the 350SDL. Any issues with mating the 3.0L to the 3.5L transmission?(Other than slightly different shift points between the 2 transmissions) I realize they are the same common block, just making sure everything will be the same. I did notice that the engine mounts are listed as different between the 3.0L and the 3.5L in the same W126 chassis. In the 350SDL, are the different engine mounts based on the cradle side, or the engine side? In other words, can I transplant the engine mounts from the 300SDL along with the engine? Or do I use the 350SDL engine mounts with the 3.0L?

Also, does anyone know if there are any other differences that I will need to prepare for in this swap? I look to do it all in one day. Thanks in advance for the help all.
