How do you remove plastic window tint?
My little 240/300D came up from Texas via Florida. It has quite dark tint in the side and rear glass that I really don't care much for. I would rather have better visibility. What stuff takes it off. Could I cut it off with a razor. It looks good from the outside but it does have some scratches in it and kind of gives the car a "gloomy" feeling. My thinking is to get rid of it on the front door glass. Any ideas?

heat gun and a razor blade scraper. Heat from the non-tint side and use the blade to scrape it up. If it's old tint, it might come off in strips. If it relatively new, it should come off in a sheet.
The adhesive will come off with the stuff already mentioned.

Well, it sounds like it will come off. I probably will live with it a bit longer, just to make sure I am doing the correct thing by taking it off.
