..... the millionth alternator question
... sorry fellas ... I know this is a popular topic but I just want to know where to get a higher output alternator for my 85 300D. The 80a I got 3 years ago from ebay finally conked out. I just ordered a voltage reg for it but I'd like to get another one as a spare for both the 84 and 85 D's.
I don't really want to go to eBay if I can help it but I will if I have to. By higher amp I mean like what I have now or higher. I have read some have even put a 150a... and some used a SAAB alternator. Part numbers would be great to have too. Thanks much.
