Costco Shop 4 ft LED Lights
Costco has had these Shop Lights for quite a while. Think they were $35 when they first stocked them.
They are now on sale for $24.99. it is a killer deal if you need shop lights. I originally bought 5, then when the price dropped to $24, I picked up 10 tonight. Went back for more and sold out.  Asked about them and another shipment was due in a week. Yeah!!! Sale is good till Feb 21st.I picked up another 10. They did have a sale on just a pack of 2 LED 4 ft tubes. I had a light over my work bench that was out. Dang it is like day time now. I have a number of them in my shop (bought at different prices) and I'll agree that they're GREAT! This is an instance where I was worried about the old technology going away but the new tech turns out to be WAY better. An interesting side benefit - the LEDs fire right up in cold weather. Think I'll pick up a couple more at the sale price - THANKS for posting this.

I don't think so, at that kind of price. Costco has always treated me well and save me a PILE on 'scripts (that becomes important at my age). But any electrical supply should have them.

Thanks for the replies, folks.
I'm a sales rep for electronic components and even going through my work, the best I can do is $18/tube......no fixture. Still significantly more than the Costco version. I may have to plug my nose and just do it, not finding them anywhere near that price elsewhere. Just bought a house with a shop and good lighting will be one of the first priorities after everything gets moved.

OK, I forgive you.
 My big shop is 40 x 50, I have 3 8 ft and 4 of the 4 footer florescent lights installed. They are better than no lights, and a couple of the 8 footers flicker a bit. Last night I plugged one of the LED lights in to an extension cord and held it up in the back of the shop. Wife shut off the other lights, and wow, did that one light, light up things. It was soooo bright. My thoughts are to replace the 8 and the 4 across from it, and install an additional on between it all the way down the shop. Then there is an addition off to the side, I have the Nissan and Datsun PU in there with all my other MB parts crap. I`ll put 40 lights in this area. It is wired so just each section can be turned on or all the lights together. I`ll have to rent one of those electric lifts to reach. It`s pretty tall to the lights. Probably get to it some time this summer. My small shop 30 x 18 will get 4, and the car port structure, 18 x 30 attached to the building will get one. The garage will get three. We`ll see how this all comes together, along with all my other projects. Charlie
