turbo oil supply line leaking at oil filter?

I recently had some work done on my '85 300D. One of the issues noted by the mechanic is that the "turbo oil supply line leaks off back of oil filter".

I'm having a hard time locating where that is and what part replacement part I will need to purchase. In searching I find more about the turbo oil drain leaks.

Any pointers would be appreciated. Is there a prefferred name to "turbo oil supply line"?

Follow the line that goes from your turbo around the back of your engine and to the oil filter housing. I don't know of another name. There are a couple of threads on the topic, one within the last month where a guy had a crack at the turbo end.

There are several possible causes of an oil leak at the rear of the filter housing. Could be one of two gaskets, metal seal rings, the oil line itself, or a crack in the plate on the rear of the housing. Or just loose fasteners/hardware. A visual inspection would be a great idea. Is it the it filter housing that you cannot locate? Or just the back side?

There are 2 13mm bolts at the turbo
One clamp at the rear of the head may be a 10mm. or remove the 13 mm bolt that bolts the lift bracket to the head.

There may be one clamp 10mm under the air filter.

then the 19mm banjo bolt at the oil filter housing.

If the clamp at the back of the head is not bolted or missing, the pipe will vibrate and crack at the banjo bolt.

Once these bolts are removed, the pipe can be wiggled out from the top on the pass side.

Here is that other thread that is on the same subject.

Thanks. Found it this evening while under the car. Going to take a better look tomorrow as it is still not clear to me what needs to be replaced if it is leaking.

If you want to see where the Oil leake is coming from degrease the area and drive the Car and take a look.

In the below pic the Turbo Oil Line Banjo Bolt threads into the hole with the yellow X over it.
One member said his plate was cracked there.
The Gasket behind the Plate could leake (try snugging up the Bolts).
The 2 Crush Washers that go on the Banjo Bolt could be leaking.
The Turbo Oil Line/Tubing could be cracked on the bottom end and also cause a leak.

Finally the Oil Filter to Block Gasket could cause an Oil Leak in that area.
