my fan quit,system had been working fine,both ac and heat,now no fan at any setting.i took fan out and put 12v to it,it did turn,but im not convinced its right.i have another good fan coming soon and will hook it up and see if it responds to push buttons .ive checked fuse,any other ideas? ijust hope its not push button module .

Check for voltage at the fan connection when the CCU should be calling for it.

i checked #2 fuse,is there another one to check,im also going to try another fan -hopefully today.

I think what VSTech meant was did you just look at the fuse or did you pull it and inspect the ends and the connections?

These old style fuses can get very corroded and bring all sorts of resulting mischief.

That's an awful lot of work to go thru without checking voltage at the fan.

yes your right,but i took fan out before thinking about voltage,in the past its always been the fan,rarley the push button module,but ill update as i go along,thanks for info

i hooked up another good fan,pushed defrost and it worked for a moment and then blew a white fuse at #3,i had put a white fuse in ,but it was supposed to be red,i had taken original red and used it at another fuse earlier,so it seems red fuse originally somehow failed without showing any sign of failure,now i have heat again.weird
