300SD lack of power,need help

Hello

I have a 97` 300SD. It seems like the car is running in "wintermode" all the time. When i push the pedal the engine responds very slowly. Max rpm is about 4500 and it takes time to reach. If i use the winter/summer button makes no difference. When i speed up the engine in park it also responds slowly. The engine otherwise runs and starts fine. The gearbox is smooth. Also i can not hear the turbo if i speed up the engine in park.

There is no engine light on, so i suspect wintemode is stuck or somehow.

Any tips for diagnosis or fault appreciated!

Regards
Odd

Running poorly

Try changing fuel filters, unhooking pollution crap + checking vacuum pressure lines.

hello, the fault was the vacuum valve going to
the wastegate, it controls pressure boost. i read
out error code which said pressure boost
control, then i reset code and exchanged the
vacuum valve with that on the EGR, then boost
was ok but the egr got failure code.
