Well it seems the wife maybe taking a job about 3 hours away from home and traveling back and forth on the weekends. Here is the problem, she will have to work some weekends for special functions. For these times my son and I would drive to her for the weekend. At this point my "87 300D would not be the car of choice for my road trips to see her so I'm trying to see if there would be any interest from members here before I try other methods to sell it. Here is what I have:

1987 300D Smoke Silver wRed MB tex interior
Just turned 338,000 today
Drive it everyday to work and has not let me down
Front seats from a '93 E320 (have originals also)
New starter about a year ago (have original that is rebuildable)
22,000 on the tires (plenty of tread left)
20,000 on front pads and rotors
Complete spare engine and trans w/180,000
Finishing the straight pipe exhaust
Have a complete newer turbo back exhaust system
Set of 4 AMG rims
Extra hood
Gauge clusters and parts
Probaly even more stuff

Going to roll these proceeds into a newer car. Really like this car but if the wife is 3 hours away I won't have the time to continue tinkering and doing the things I want to do to it. Don't want to sell it but priorities change. I have had this car for 2 years now and would prefer she go to a good home (the car not the wife). If interested you can pm me and we can talk.

Figured this would be more of a tageted market to try first. Has some rust but isn't too bad. Body is straight. Was going to CL it for $3500 with ALL the stuff I have for it. I didn't post it but I just got a 150 amp alternator for it as well. I know I could make much more selling everything seperately but I'd rather sell the whole lot and be done.

the 87 is the best year of the 124's until you get to the 95... I love all three of mine!
