617 manual flywheel differences

They aren't all the same, The car has a C 617 032 0001 This is the 37 lb one

The trucks --Gwagon -or the 207 208 209 307 308 and a few weird 309d transport or the vans --they have a 616 but use The truck 617 33lb flywheel
#617 032 0101

the car flywheel's ring that jutts out the backside is around 3/4 thick whereas the truck one is just under 1/2. The difference allows a truck wheel to use a clutch assembly thats about 5/8 wider diameter than a car-300 or 240d clutch.
If someone was wanting a bigger clutch They could change a car flywheel by having a welder weld up any lightening holes in the ring with a nickel welding rod---then take it to any brake drum lathe and remove the extra material on the inside of the ring--Then carefully measure before redrilling for the bigger clutch on the widened land.
