1992 300SD hard cold starts

A few days ago it seems I may have lost my gp relay or bad glow plugs the symptom is when the motor is cold it has a hard time starting it cranks fine but won't start. GP light won't come on when turning key however after about 20 seconds after running the gp light comes on! Any help or info is appreciated.
