What is this vacuum part called?

There's a rubber multi-output vacuum connector that sits on top of the vacuum control unit on the diesel injection pump. Picture attached. Does anyone know what it is called, so that I can look for it somewhere other than my Mercedes dealer? I'd use the StarTek parts database, but I don't have a Windows PC, which it requires.

thanks

I call it a damper, Fastlane calls it a dashpot, I think.

Phil says the part is

Vacuum Control Valve
MB# 1403000833

OES Genuine
W0133-1606812
Vacuum Control Valve
$185.09

It took him a while to find the info, but if I find a source for just the rubber vacuum piece, y'all will be the second to know.

The vacuum control valve

No specific symptoms except a general indication of vaccum problems in the Trans, AC, etc. I just noticed that this particular rubber piece is deteriorated and would crack apart at the least provocation, so I wanted to replace it.

thanks

if you're talking about the 'green' thing that's commonly called a dashpot, if you're talking about what's below that it's the VCV (vacuum control valve) and that is what can cause problems with the trans.

If you replace the VCV be sure and replace the seal where it mates to the IP, those seals deteriorate.

The vacuum control valve

Yes, I mean the vacuum control valve, but only the rubber vacuum connector at the top. It's not looking promising to find but will post if I do.

That is bulk rubber hose, nothing special required.
