Hey guys.. I am new to this all. I have been loving all the research I have done on the 300td wagon. Alas, I am still a noob. What can you guys tell me about this deal I am looking at.

I like the color combination and it looks very factory original, a big plus with me.

That is a great model year, and the price looks really good, providing there
is no body rot and under the hood looks sound.

Ask questions of the seller like how long have they owned it , what do you know about the previous owners.

And last - welcome to the forum. This is a great place.

in the san francisco bay area that car would sell for $4000 to $5000.

Looking forward to a drive to San Francisco when I'm ready to sell my wagon!

Hi bryce

Welcome to the forum. Checkout the pics I took of the "parts" wagon I just bought for places to look for rust.

it looks nice, inspect inside each fender, and open up both rear hatches, and look for signs of rust and repairs/water.
the set of studded snow tires, proves it's been driven in snow... not good for the car.
the wheel looks far too worn for true 180K miles.
it's nice the luggage rack cross bars are there, but no third row... bummer.

the bars are worth 400...
