This can't be right, a shut off valve for a 123 is now $173. :eek::eek::eek:

Even the "Other" parts Haus in Arizona is selling them at this price.

I also have noticed this DRAMATIC price increase, thankfully when I replaced one, it was about half, as I recall.

Anyone ever disassembled one to see if the diaphragm can be replaced or repaired? At that price it won't be long before someone disassembles one and converts it into a mechanically activated valve.

It's such a simple little part I can't believe that it's fetching that price.

Wow. I think I paid 130 bucks to have one installed part and labor included a few years ago. I wonder why the huge jump? It can't be out of production

Somewhere I have my old one. I recall looking at it and deciding it was rebuildable. My plan was to chuck it in a lathe, cut the crimped part off, separate the halves, fabricate a new diaphragm, then put it on the mill in a indexer to drill out 12 holes in the flange + two rings that would also have to be made on the lathe. Then bolt it together. If it can be re-assembled without interfering with other parts in the pump, it will work.
