Since when is a 123 shut-off valve $173
This can't be right, a shut off valve for a 123 is now $173.
 Glad I have a spare one sitting at home. PeachParts FastLane Mercedes Parts Store -- 123 Shut-off Valve Even the "Other" parts Haus in Arizona is selling them at this price.

I also have noticed this DRAMATIC price increase, thankfully when I replaced one, it was about half, as I recall.

Anyone ever disassembled one to see if the diaphragm can be replaced or repaired? At that price it won't be long before someone disassembles one and converts it into a mechanically activated valve.

WOW!!! that is crazy.
I just looked in E-Bay, and Iam surprised at some of the prices there. 75-76 300D w115 000 070 18 53 $59.00 75 240D, 300D w115 Bosch 1 427 133 037 $85.00 W123, W126 1 427 133 091 $147.95 A plastic one 1 427 133 093 $38.99 000 070 20 53 1 427 133 091 Bosch $135.00 Auto hous az $174.13 for w123 84-85 190D 0 928 400 270 Bosch $27.00 I saw some a few days ago, maybe on CL. think they were around $45.00. well looks like PNP will be looked at a little more closely.  Just checked Rusty`s site. looked up 84 300D, $191.25 and the list price is. $382.50 What is going on? MB quit making these also, and the price for available parts left, is shooting through the roof? Somewhere I have my old one. I recall looking at it and deciding it was rebuildable. My plan was to chuck it in a lathe, cut the crimped part off, separate the halves, fabricate a new diaphragm, then put it on the mill in a indexer to drill out 12 holes in the flange + two rings that would also have to be made on the lathe. Then bolt it together. If it can be re-assembled without interfering with other parts in the pump, it will work. snapped_bolt
