so I could expect a MBZ remanufactured engine replacement to be a solid long lasting motor? or can I expect it to have major problems in a short time

specifically...how is the 603.010.69.00.88 remanufactured engine?

Well...all I know is the tech at the dealer told me that the new long block was very different from the old....and I think the engine number is 603.971 in the 92-95 and the older engine model was 603.971(90-91)

the 300SDL motor is better because the 350SDL always burns oil...A lot of it.

If you want to part your motor out, Ill buy the crankshaft.

so can anyone tell me whether or not I can expect serious problems with a 603.010.69.00.88 (remanufactured from MBZ) engine?

is this particular engine one which will last a few hundred thousand miles without having problems with bent connecting rodz...etc (the usual problems with the original 350sdl engiine)
