Euro spec fuel pump problems

Anyone know where I can get a rebuild kit or a new fuel pump (not injection pump) for a '77 eurospec 300D?

The pump can be re-built reasonably easily...

Main issues are the various 'O' rings it contains, sometimes a valve or the spring will go bad.

Strip it down,--its a pretty simple device, the 'fault' should be pretty easy to spot....

Here's a DIY I did for a slightly newer version of the pump you should have fitted to your IP.

Your's is probably very similar although I think it will have a double / slit cam on the end that goes into the pump.

If you need parts ask the forum sponsors!

You could "Ask Phil".

Any, Bosch Fuel Injection Shop could supply you with a kit. There is a number plate on the Fuel Supply/Lift Pump or you could give them the Numbers that are on the Fuel Injection Pump itselt.

The dealership also has those rebuild kits. (valves and rings).

As you said the Dealer Valve Repair kit 002-1-586-12-67 comes with 2 Valves and 2 Seal Rings.
It does not have the 5mm O-ring for the Plunger.

From my notes:
Lift/FUEL SUPPLY PUMP TINY o-ring
Bosch lists now 2 440 210 002 (MB 010 997 86 48) as replacement to the original black(perbunan?). And yes,the replacement is Viton.
The 5mmŲ x 1.50mmŲ 'O' ring is located in a groove in this bore and prevents engine oil in the IP from being sucked into the fuel re-circulation circuit. In most cases this O-ring has either hardened and broken up or completely disappeared.
The little O-ring also prevents Fuel from mixing with the Oil.

Found your O-Ring in my Fastenal manual.
1.5mm C.S. 5mm I.D. 8mm O.D PN# 0480735 $0.06 each

Back to me; I got mine from the BMW Motor Cycle dealer because I did not know where I could walk in and buy one O-ring. I believe it cost me $1.97 and I had to wait over 1 week for it to get to the BMW Dealer.
Lift Supply/Sump O-ring from BMW motor cycle carburator
