So, what's this cyan colored wire in the trunk of '84 300D?

I've replaced most of my fuel lines and washed out my tank... lots of black crud (fungus). I'm at the point of putting the tank back in , but there is a cyan colored wire that was under the tank when I took it out... I don't know what it's for or where it goes. It is creased in such a way that I know it was under the tank when I took it out, it also has a frayed end on it.

Anyone have any clue as to what this wire is for or where it goes?

Thanks in advance!

Well, I followed the wire as far as I could... disappeared under the rocker panel and I couldn't find any other indication of it up near the fuse box.

Gritted my teeth and cut it off. Everything works still (antenna is fine.)

Thanks for the ideas!
