Help loosening compressor outboard bolt

I'm working on replacing my belts after my alternator belts shredded. Power steering belt is off and two of the 19mm bolts on the compressor are loose. I cannot seem to get at the bolt that is closest to the wheel. I can get my ratchet or wrench on it, but am unable to move it enough to get it loose. What's the trick?

Hit it with some kroil or pb blaster. you can also try to get the bottom lubed...it comes thru the bracket just forward of the adjusting nut near the oil cooler lines. It goes thru the bracket, then a spacer, then the adjustment mechanism then thru the compressor
You may need a breaker bar.

It's not so much that it's stuck but that I can't find enough room to move a wrench. There is just terrible clearance for that bolt.

I usually get at it from under the car with it jacked up. I can get to it from above, but I have a 240, so there is less in my way. Even so, I find it easier from below.

I use a ratchet with no extension aimed down

I am coming up from below. I guess I should include a photo with the wrench on the bolt to get a visual. The frame is in the way and does not allow any room to turn the bolt.

I got the bolt loose finally with my trusty 8" adjustable. It was short enough to get up in the space. All the other wrenches were too long. I can move it around now but still can't get enough slack to get the belt off. The adjustment is all the way loose. It will go up but seems to get stuck when I try to slide it towards the crankshaft. Anyone have any tricks on getting the compressor loose enough to remove the belt?

on the 123 I find that someone leaning on the line manifold while the other person pulls the belt off the crank pulley gets the job done.

Sorry I've been so busy I haven't had time to swing by...
SOON I hope!

From the top you mean? I assume the line manifold is the hard lines going into the compressor?

yup.
it took me holding down on the lines while the customer wiggled on the belt to get it out.

I finally got the belt off tonight. I had my wife pushing on the line from up top and I was exerting as much force as I could muster with a crowbar from below. I don't know what is preventing my compressor from traveling in that slot but it just doesn't have much budge. There is no way I can get a new belt back on there though. The old belt went back on ok and it was in good shape so I'm going to skip replacing it. I have new belts for the alt and PS pump. Tomorrow morning i will begin putting it all back together.
