euro lihgt lens 1982 C D

Does anyone on this forum have euro lights on a 1980 -85 300d that can answer a question about the lens? I need some info about the lens on bosch or hella. Please email me if you have a moment.

What do you actually need to know?I have what you chaps call euro lights on my 82 300D.I originally had the other type,but the silvering had gone and I didn't much like the look of them anyway.Mine are Bosch with vacuum adjustment.If I can be of assistance reply on this thread:-Bear

Bear, I have Hella lights with 1 broken lens. I need to know if bosch will replace hella ? The supplier thinks it will but can not confirm. Hella is held by a series of metal clips.

The Hellas can be replaced with the Bosch and visa-versa.Care should be taken when removing the clips they can travel a long way with a small amount of pressure!Before you refit the new glass make sure the gasket is clean and reseated properly.Hope this reply was fast enough for you! Bear
