Hi,

91 W124 serpentine belt is tracking 1/8 " beyond flush on the serpentine belt tensioner pulley... I loosed the pulley checked bearing and tensioning action on the tensioner bracket ...alll seems tight and I cant readily tell what is causing this. The belt has not always been running in this position for two reasons . 1) I would have noticed and remembered 2) there is a dust/shine mark on the pulley that would correspond with a normal position/belt travel. has anyone run into this particular issue ?
