300td blower

My beautiful '83 TD has a blower issue. The fan doesn't always come on when in the normal heat/vent mode. I can fool it sometimes by switching to AC, but going back to vent it will soon stop. The only way to get fresh cabin air is to run the AC. Other switch funtions will run the fan normally.
