DIY Pop Tester
2 Attachment(s)
In doing the research to build my pop tester, I found that there are quite a few good how to threads to turn a cheap 2 ton bottle jack into a nice pop tester. However it's always a challenge to get from a NPT fitting to the MB hard line fitting. These are obviously not a standard, off the shelf item, and can be very hard to find. When I built mine, I fabricated a connector that goes directly from 1/4NPT to the MB hard line, like this

Ingenious way of coping with the metric system!
Surprisingly Dutch (domestic) plumbing systems use a combination of imperial and metric fittings - I've had to come up with many a fix - though here they usually have an off the self solution. If you are not careful you can end up with connector on connector on connector... |
