Vibration Is Gone
After removing the URO axle half-shafts on my 1995 E300D the "mysterious" severe vibration is completely gone. I cannot say for absolute fact that the FEQ /URO brand axle shafts were the cause because I didn't put everything back together and test drive after each installation of repair parts in the drive line BUT! since all the other parts are Lemforder or OEM I have a very strong suspicion that the cheap Chinese parts are to blame...but suffice it to say that I am glad to get the FEQ outta there!
Caveat emptor (  /ˌkæviːɑːt ˈɛmptɔr/) is Latin for "Let the buyer beware"[1] (from caveat, "may he beware", the subjunctive of cavere, "to beware" + emptor, "buyer").Just My opinion for all of you that want to "save a bundle" by buying URO / FEQ parts. I gave it a shot, but never again.

Really bad if they are leaving the factory way out of balance. Could be mechanical as well but I suspect you would have to hear it. Thats if it was bad enough to give a constant vibration. The chinese aftermarket axel producers implied their replacements were of decent quality when first introduced. Time has in general proved otherwise for many. If the quality had been better even if they cost a little more would have worked better for both them and us. I source parts for friends quite often and have given up on a lot of brands.

They're not necessarily out of balance. Balance is not a big factor on an axle, as they turn relatively slow. The problem is that they do not transmit rotation smoothly from the differential to the wheel when the CV joints are at an angle- that's the vibration you feel.
