Cyclone Oil Separator
On my 1983 240D (126,000m) I was having a lot of leaking around the cyclone and tubing. It was making a mess. I replaced every tube, clamp and the cyclone oil separator, which was cracked. Also, the seal between the air cleaner and throttle body had disintegrated and I replaced. After I replace everything it still leaked a little so I sealed it all up and put on hose clamps where the factory did not use them. Not a drop leaks out now. However, when I start my car oil blows out the tail pipe. There is a black oily spot behind my car where the exhaust points. Another black spot on my concrete driveway where I first give it throttle to make it up the drive way. The car starts with the first click of the key even on cold days and runs fine. No blue smoke either. Do I have a problem. Any solution?
