300sd w126 front spring pads for the USA
Hello,
I am attempting to lower the front end slightly on my 300sd. I checked the rubber spring pads and it appears to be the one[1] tick mark. Its hard to really see the pad on my car? Which I think it implys 8MM pad, the lowest. Does anybody know if they came to the USA that way. Is that what everybody else has on the Diesels Brian[gavinbr] ![]() |

I think you're right, 8mm. Don't know what mine are.

If the rear is squatting down = the frontend will be jacked up. .

It would be worth double checking that mark. My SD ('84) had the three tick pads (18mm) and changing to the 8mm pads made a significant difference to the attitude. It's now perfectly level with about 1/2 tank of fuel. Just about every other SD is dragging ass..........unless the rear suspension has had attention. |
