Exclamation Exhaust recirculation tubing system removal

95 E300 Diesel w 300K. I am toying with the idea of removing and plugging the exhaust recirc PVC tubing system that feed exhaust into each tube of the intake manifold where it bolts onto the head. The intake manifold nipples holes would be easy to tap and plug. I am not sure about the port from the head. There is a valve just after the port. I am guessing it is temperature activated as there are no electrical or vacuum hoses connected to it. Ideally I would like to just plug the head port and be done with it. Or, I could cap the valve or run a line/hose/pipe to the exhaust pipe or just vent to to the air.
Six years ago I had to replace all the tubing and nipples after removing the intake manifold. I am taking off the manifold again and the PVC tubing and nipples are cracking and breaking for the second time. I don't want to spend the $75+ again and every time I remove the intake manifold. any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Friz
