I save old belts-V and multirib. Then I just wrap an old one around the pulley and lock it in a vise. usually can get it loose that way.

That is how they work.

I had one fail on Me but I had been using it for more than 10 years.

It is entirely possible to get a defective one.

One time I had to take one apart as a spring insised had come off of the Weights inside. To long ago to recall the Details.

I have been happy with mine.

I picked up the 12 volt impact wrench from HF for 25 bucks. Seems like a good deal.

I'll be trying in out soon on that bolt.
