Bad prechamber seal with head swap, 300 SDL

Hi, I just swapped out a cracked #14 head on my 1987 300 SDL with a 1991 350 #17 head. I have read the other threads on this topic, but could not find any information on whether or not you can use the #14 injectors and lock collars with the #17 head. The #14 injectors thread in to the collar and the #17 injectors thread into the prechamber. The reason I ask is that the car is running now, but there are a few major leaks (puffs of air) coming from the prechambers on two cylinders and I am unsure if this is a worn prechamber issue or if it is caused by trying to put #14 injectors on a #17 head. I am trying to avoid buying new injectors, but that might be the only answer. Any info would be much appreciated. ...also, even with the leaks, it's running, very cool!
