Question 85' W126 supply pump signal wire diagram?

Im working on a 85' 300SD and the door locks do not work. the Vacuum/pressure lines for the locks work and all the mirco switches work in the trunk and driver door. Also Made sure the supply pump works on the bench.

The problem Im having is that there is a break in some signal and power wires and I could not find any literature with the signal wires anywhere. Its like they dont exist.
I know the power wire for the supply pump comes from F13 but thats where it ends.

Could someone point me in the right direction Im getting frustrated just looking for any info and not finding it.

Check out pwogaman's thread on the cheap wagon, he had that problem, turned out to be a bad splice in the wire pack in the floor.

The ETM for the 126 is on startek.com, it will have the wiring diagram for the system.

Gill, your comment aboout the signal wires hits the nail on the head. I've attached a scan of the diagram. You will note that the "wiring" is basically power from F13 to the drivers door switch to the supply pump assembly.

The supply pump assembly provides both pressure and vacuum to activate the door lock, trunk and gas cap actuators. If there is a leak in the system, then the sequence switch will not reset between pressure and vacuum. Per the diagram, follow the vacuum line off the pump assembly to the 4-way split. There you can isolate by capping ends of the 4-way. Hopefully, the leak is right there in the trunk or gas cap as they are the easiest to get to.

Hope that helps,
Sam

My supply pump has 2 main wires plus the 3 signal wire plug. The 2 main wires are there to power the pump when one of the signal wires are powered through the door lock switch.

As I stated before the vacuum/pressure lines for the locks are in great condition and no leaking.

Thanks for that diagram but that version is not the version we are looking for.
I use AllData and they have the same one but for 84'

We have 3 300SD's with all different pumps. 2 84' and 1 85' which is the one we are working on.

Thanks for the advice and help

Hmmm.....Makes me wonder if the 3-wire plug might be for a factory alarm. Does your vehicle have the factory alarm? Alldata probably doesn't list anything for the factory alarm.

Sorry it wasn't much help.

Thats alright We ended up supplying the red wire in the 3 wire plug in the door with Fused 12 volt power and also made sure we had power at the pump. The result is that the door locks work both open and closed with the pump. I guess there is just bad wires some where. All is well now.

Thanks to all that helped
