84 300D Lights Question

I have a 1984 Euro 300D. The head lights have been converted to US. Low beam and high beam switch are reveresed. More interesting it has day time running lights!!!! Lastly the high beam and fog lights come on at the same time. In Virginia when you use high beam fog lights should cut off. Any thoughts? How difficult is it to fix these issues?
2nd question is I was trying to find a set of Euro lights. There are a few Chinese ones for about $150.00 a pair on Ebay. Anyone use these?
