83 300d turbo trans shifting prob

I have a 83 300d turbo just recently changed the b-2 piston and fluid/ filter change. I pulled it out of one of my junkers to put in my good car because it has the lowest mileage. I have adjusted the vacuum modulator to 42 psi just as the factory specs and it shifts smooth as glass but it shifts into third not even 200 rpms after it shifts into second. Can anyone give me something to look at to fix or adjust...I'm guessing its the bowden cable but have no idea which way to adjust it

If you want it to shift later turn the cable knob out away from the bracket to tighten the cable.
The will adjust the shift points for all gears though so your problem may be elsewhere.
