Rear fog lights?

I hear they were on Euro models but not US, although you can still pull the light knob out 2 notches on the US models. Has anyone here installed these before? Sounds like a fun electrical DIY project.

EDIT: Referring to W123s.

the taillights have open spaces where the bulb should go. a lot of people (me included) wire up a second set of brake lights there.

i dont know if the headlight/fog light switch is actually wired for a rear fog light, though.

Extra lamps

AFAIK the US-version 123 headlight switch is not wired for rear fog lights. I added extra contacts and wired the "new" positions for a second tail lamp in each position. Addition of an aftermarket 3rd brake light then gave me three brake lamps and four tail lamps.
