I just received a replacement door lock actuator from Pelican parts. The original one is shown on the top and the new one on the bottom. The new one looks like it will work, but needs new holes drilled in the door, and the actuator rod will need to be shortened by about 1/2 - 1 inch. Is this the right approach? I searched the forum and could not find an answer. It is not a direct replacement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.[ATTACH]109459
