Cleaned banjo, no washers, and turbo noise
Cleaned my gunked up banjo. I did notice that I did not find any washers when I took it apart.
Am I missing something? ALSO! My turbo is making a higher pitch whistle now (Was there prior, just seems louder), very pronounced when easing off throttle around 2,500-3,000 rpms. Any ideas? Is it a leak? |

The plastic "U" tube has a large rubber seal in it, thats probably worn out. The buy it now tab above has them I am sure, once you replace that, the whistle/turbo whine will quiet down
Dont know about the banjo bolt. Someone will answer you soon I am pretty sure.

I have the same whistle at 2500 when coming off throttle. Would love to figure out why that is so loud.
Is yours an 85?
